The first flag football power point rankings of the season resulted in a huge match-up for Tuesday night. Number 14 ranked Bradshaw Mountain traveled to Kingman to battle number ten ranked Lee Williams. There was not a whole lot of scoring in this game as it was tied 7-7 late in the fourth quarter. Kimora Davis snagged her second interception of the game to put the Lady Bears deep in Lady Volunteer territory. That set up a 27-yard field goal by Trista Polley as time expired to give Bradshaw the 10-7 triumph.
Morgan “Go-Go” Gosik had a touchdown pass to Lucy Nache. Melanie Carranza registered two sacks. She is also in the running for Arizona high school flag football player of the year. Taylor Morrison also had an interception.
The Lady Bears are 4-4 on the season. They have their final home game of the regular season tomorrow versus Coronado.
