It’s a big week of post-season action for our local teams. On the docket for tonight, it’s the 4A Conference State Play-In Round. Number nine seed Prescott hosts number 24 Walden Grove, while number 19 Bradshaw Mountain is in Phoenix to face number 14 St. Mary’s. The first round of the state tournament proper takes place Thursday.
Also on Thursday, the Prescott and Bradshaw Mountain cross country teams are in Glendale for the Northwest Section meet, while the Chino Valley cross country team competes in the Metro Section meet, also in Glendale.
Embry-Riddle also sees its share of post-season action. On Friday, the men’s soccer team is in Riverside, California versus La Sierra in the GSAC semi-finals, while the men’s and women’s cross country teams are in Glendale for the conference championship meet. On Saturday, the women’s soccer team hosts Hope International in the GSAC semi-finals.
Also on Saturday, the Prescott and Bradshaw Mountain swim teams are in Mesa for the state meet.
