Six Yavapai College soccer players were honored for their performances during the 2025 season. On the men’s side, Endreus Soares was named to the All-Region One First Team. In the nine games he started as a defender, the Roughriders allowed just eleven goals. Two more players made the All-Region Second Team. Andres Pulido recorded five goals and an assist, while Cesar Da Silva registered four goals as a defender.
On the women’s side, Sophia Fottrell made the All-Region One First Team. She posted six goals and two assists. Two other Lady Riders made the All-Region Second Team. Talon Bennett – last year’s Region Keeper of the Year – made 103 saves this season. Jill Young recorded four goals.
The Yavapai men finished the season at 5-7-1 and made it to the Region One Championship game. The Yavapai women went 5-7-2.
