Local scoreboard from yesterday, the Yavapai College volleyball team got swept by Eastern Arizona 3-0 in the Region One semi-finals. Micah Gardner tallied eleven kills.
He got an offer. Prescott football linebacker Gunnar Parra announced on “X” that he has received his first Division One offer from NAU. This past season, Parra recorded 85 tackles and three-and-a-half sacks.
Alumni update time. Former Prescott soccer player Laney Lucas helped Laramie County College win the Region Nine Championship game last Saturday. She assisted on the game-winning goal in the 2-1 win over Casper College.
Alumni update time. Former Bradshaw Mountain football player Michael Kelley made some nice contributions to Lake Forest College’s 72-0 annihilation of Lawrence this past Saturday. He recorded four tackles and a rushing touchdown.
