Two people walked away from a plane crash in Sedona unharmed.
The Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office reports the crash occurred near Cathedral Rock Monday around 8:30 a.m. The husband and wife aboard the plane deployed a “Cirrus CAPS system,” which is a parachute for the entire aircraft. That helped the plane land on the side of the mountain, allowing the couple to walk away from the crash.
The cause of the crash is not known.
