Yavapai County BOS to Vote on Funds for New Public Safety Building

The Yavapai County Board of Supervisors could accept a one million dollar state grant to fund the construction of a public safety facility in the southwest part of the county at its meeting Wednesday.

Other items on the agenda include a $600,000 expenditure for the Sheriff’s Office for its School Safety Program, and a $200,000 contract with Westwood Professional Services for the Spring Valley Area Drainage Master Study.

The meeting begins at 9 a.m. at the County Administration Building at 1015 Fair Street in Prescott.
