He’s off to a pretty good start to his collegiate career. Former Prescott basketball player Uriah Tenette saw significant time on the court in New Mexico’s season opener Wednesday versus East Texas A&M. “Tenacious T” put up 14 points off the bench, along with five assists, three steals, and two rebounds as the Lobos got the 76–54 win.
His former teammate, Zane Gaul, also saw a few minutes of play in Hawaii Pacific’s season opener Monday. He grabbed a rebound as the Sharks stunned Boise State 79–78.
As for other former local basketball players now on other teams, Yavapai College product Kishyah Anderson was in the starting lineup for Georgia Southern last night versus Florida State. She registered six points and six rebounds as the Lady Eagles lost to the Lady Seminoles 80–72.
