Local scoreboard from yesterday, in cross country, at the Metro Section Meet, the Chino Valley girls finished second and the boys were sixth. Zoi Nagel came in second for the girls and Enzo Wiley was 24th for the boys. Both squads qualified for state. At the Northwest Section Meet, Prescott’s Aubrey Delaney was 25th for the girls and Bradshaw Mountain’s Gody Castillo was 14th for the boys. The Prescott boys and girls and the Bradshaw boys, who finished third, qualified for state. The Lady Bears’ Sara Harmon came in 13th and qualified for state as an individual.
The Yavapai College women’s basketball team fell to Western Wyoming 103–25.
