One person was seriously injured when the vehicle they were in crashed into a building in Sedona. Fire crews responded to the crash just after 9 p.m. Sunday near Doodlebug and Highway 179. When firefighters arrived, they had to cut the vehicle apart to reach the driver, who was then airlifted to a trauma center for treatment.
Utility teams from APS also responded quickly to secure power to damaged electrical equipment in the area. No word yet on the cause of the crash.
