You probably can’t go any farther north to play college basketball. Prescott’s Addie Prisciandaro signed with the University of Alaska–Fairbanks.
As for why she chose to play for the Nanooks, she tells The News:
Last season, “Addie-Cadabra” hit the 1,000-point plateau for her career. She is also a two-time Grand Canyon Region Offensive Player of the Year, and made the All 4-A Conference second team last season. Alaska–Fairbanks is an NCAA Division II school.
