Just like in the first round of state, the Prescott flag football team will face another American Leadership Academy school in round two—this one, ALA Gilbert North.

Number eight ALA Gilbert North bested number nine Paradise Honors 27-13 in the opening round of state Wednesday, while number one Prescott topped ALA Queen Creek 24-10. Saturday’s Elite Eight game is at 2 p.m. at Bill Shepard Field, and KYCA will broadcast it live on 1490 AM, 103.5 FM, and online at www.kyca.info .
