Local scoreboard from the weekend, in basketball, for the guys, Embry-Riddle fell to both Eastern Oregon and Lewis-Clark State 89-81 and 86-68 respectively. “The Fireball” Jacey Canalin put up 19 points versus Eastern Oregon. Ladies, Yavapai College fell to Mesa 58-46.
At the state cross country meet, the Chino Valley girls finished in 12th place, with Zoi Nagel coming in tenth. The Bradshaw Mountain boys came in eleventh, with Kody Castillo 45th. The Lady Bears’ Sara Harmon was 37th for the girls. Prescott’s Audrey Delaney came in 71st for the girls.
The Embry-Riddle wrestling team won the Mile High Invitational, with Daniil Gorshkov, Trenton Bloomquist, and Kenneth Copley all first in their weight classes.
