A fire broke out at the Yavapai Metal Recycling yard in Dewey last Friday. Units from both the Central Arizona Fire and Medical Authority and Prescott Fire Department responded to the blaze and evacuated nearby businesses as a precaution.
Firefighters also made sure the flames did not extend to nearby brush. No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire is not known.
