The Prescott Chamber of Commerce and Prescott Area Young Professionals are teaming for the 23rd Annual Flying High Turkey Drive next Monday. You can drop off frozen turkeys or make monetary donations at the two Fry’s locations in Prescott on Fair Street and on Willow Creek Road from noon to 6 p.m.
The event supports Thanksgiving food baskets for families in need through the Yavapai Food Bank and local non-profits. Last year’s drive helped feed hundreds of people, and organizers say the need is even greater this year.
If you can’t donate a turkey, a $35 donation covers a meal for a family of four.
