They dropped their first two games in the Fear the Hoop Tournament in Mesa. In their third game Friday… the Prescott boys basketball team dropped that one, too. The Badgers fell to McClintock 75-61. Caden Lozen put up 16 points. Drew Jolley recorded 15 points and eleven rebounds. Jack Golleher notched ten points, and Chase Stedman posted five points, six assists, and five steals.
In the final day of the tournament Saturday, Prescott finally got in the win column. They overpowered Queen Creek 77-55. Lozen registered 18 points and five steals. Jolley garnered 16 points and eight rebounds, and Pedro Jimenez netted 12 points.
The Badgers begin the season with a 1-3 record. Prescott is back on the court tonight. They head to Phoenix versus St. Mary’s. The Badgers’ home opener is Thursday versus Deer Valley.
