ERAU Men’s Basketball Splits in Florida

They spent Thanksgiving weekend in the land of grapefruit and gators. The Embry-Riddle men’s basketball team was in Florida Friday for a tussle with Southeastern University. It turned out to be a one-sided affair as the Fire smoked the Eagles 104-77. “The Fireball” Jacey Canalin had a big game with 27 points. “The Madman” Matur Dahl registered 12 points. “The Mack Attack” Ethan Macken and Isaiah Wong both chipped in nine points.

Saturday, Riddle journeyed from Lakeland to Sarasota to face New College of Florida. It was also a one-sided game, this time in the Eagles’ favor as they won 93-69. Peter Dress posted 21 points. Dahl came close to a double-double with 19 points and nine rebounds. Macken and Noah Gifft both tallied 14 points, and Canalin and Christian Wells both recorded ten points and combined for 16 assists.

The Eagles are now 6-4 on the season.
