After a busy Friday and Saturday at the Ben Franklin Classic, the Prescott boys soccer team did not get much rest as they headed down to Phoenix to face Greenway in their first power point game of the season. The Badgers scored first, but the Demons notched a goal later in the first half, then scored again early in the second half. In the final 20 minutes, Prescott got the equalizer, then the go-ahead goal, and held on for the 3-2 win. Ariel Buelna, Cole Schuman, and Lincoln Aurich each had a goal for the Badgers.
The Bradshaw Mountain boys soccer team was also in the Valley Monday for their season opener. The Bears showed off their defensive skills, led by keeper Jesus Arguelles, and blanked Estrella Foothills 2-0. Alexis Rojas and Ricky Russo notched the goals for Bradshaw.
Prescott is back on the road Wednesday at Notre Dame Prep. Bradshaw is home Friday versus ALA Gilbert North.
