The Bradshaw Mountain girls basketball team let Cactus know who was the boss from the opening tip-off. The Lady Bears held a 19-4 lead over the Lady Cobras after the first quarter. That advantage went up to 29-10 at halftime. Bradshaw maintained the lead the rest of the way and got the 55-24 victory Monday night.
Emma Johnson paced the Lady Bear offense with 14 points, including four three-pointers. Ally Downing notched 12 points, and Presley Connolly chipped in nine points. Bradshaw Mountain is off to a 5-1 start to the season.
Next up for the Lady Bears, they go to Eagar for the Round Ball Tournament Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. They play two games on Thursday versus Morenci and Many Farms. Bradshaw is back home December 15th versus Mohave.
