It was a long, but successful day in Eagar for the Bradshaw Mountain girls basketball team. They began their run through the Roundball Tournament with two games Thursday.
First, the Lady Bears faced Morenci and got the win, 40-29. Emma Johnson paced the Bradshaw offense with 13 points, and Avery Wells registered ten points.
Then came the late game versus Many Farms. The Lady Bears ramped up their offense and took care of business on the defensive side to come away 56-36 winners. Johnson went off for 25 points for Bradshaw. Presley Connolly and Kortney Bennett both tallied nine points.
The Lady Bears continue tournament play today when they square off against Valley High School. Bradshaw returns home Monday to open Grand Canyon Region play versus Mohave.
