In their season opener Monday, the Prescott girls soccer team dominated the game, crushing Greenway 8-0. The Lady Badgers were hoping to keep that potent offense going when they went down to Gilbert to face Campo Verde, a 5A conference school. The Lady Coyotes came into the contest with a 3-1-1 record. When the game was over, that record went to 4-1-1 as they shut out Prescott, final score 4-0.
The Lady Badgers will try to get back on track Monday when they host ALA Gilbert North. That game will start at 3 p.m. Next Wednesday, the Lady Badgers are back on the road when they travel to Cave Creek to battle Cactus Shadows. That will be the final game on the 2025 side of the schedule for the Lady Badgers.
After Christmas break, Prescott will head to Bullhead City to face Mohave. Their first home game of 2026 won’t be until January 23, when they host Notre Dame Prep.
