Arizona drivers got an early Christmas present … lower gas prices. According to AAA Arizona, the statewide average for a gallon of unleaded regular stands at $3.19, down seven cents from a week ago. That’s still higher than the national average of $2.93.
The most expensive gas in Arizona is in Maricopa County at $3.31 a gallon. The cheapest gas can be found in Greenlee County at $2.84. In Coconino County, the average price is $3.22 a gallon.
Here in Yavapai County, the average price for a gallon of unleaded regular is $3.14, down three cents from last week.
