Christmas Eve Eve was a rainy day for Yavapai County.
According to the County Flood Control District, Sierra Prieta received 0.16 inches of rain Tuesday. Thumb Butte, White Spar Campground, Granite Basin, Big Bug Mesa, and Mingus Mountain all got 0.12 inches. Goldwater Lake, Williamson Valley, Prescott Heights, Mayer, and Cordes Junction all had 0.08 inches, and Pine Ridge Marketplace, Lynx Lake, Willow Lake, Outer Loop Road, Yarnell, and Sedona all received 0.04 inches of rain.
Showers will continue in the Tri-City area today and on Christmas Day, with the chance of rain between 70 and 90-percent.
