Officials with Yavapai County Emergency Management suggest you start stockpiling supplies in the event of a large snowstorm. This should include extra food and water, flashlights, batteries, cell phone chargers, and a hand-cranked radio.
It’s also a good idea to make sure your windows and doors are properly sealed to conserve heat. Be sure to have a snow shovel so you can dig out your sidewalks and driveways.
