ERAU Produces 48 GSAC Scholar-Athletes for the Fall

The fall season was not only a successful one sports-wise for Embry-Riddle, but also in the classroom. Forty-eight athletes were named to the Great Southwest Athletic Conference Scholar-Athlete Team. This honors athletes who maintained a GPA of 3.50 or higher.

Leading the way for Riddle was the men’s soccer team with 15 players on the list. This includes Emanuele Bossi and Julian Albanil, who posted 4.0 GPAs. Next was the women’s soccer team, who had a dozen players on the list. Among them, Tessa Updegraff had a 4.0, and Chino Valley grad Kaitlyn Roskopf notched a 3.95 GPA.

The volleyball team produced ten GSAC Scholar-Athletes, with Alice Tuci nailing a 4.0. Eleven cross country runners were named all-conference scholar-athletes – seven for the men and four for the women, with Ben Kovach, Cam Shepard, Mia Kemp, and Sophia Noriega 4.0 students.
