As students head back to school this week, officials with the Prescott Fire Department remind residents to maintain safe driving practices for student safety.
They say drivers should slow down and stay alert, which includes watching for walking or biking children, obeying school zone speed limits, allowing extra time for morning commutes, and removing distractions while driving.
