The Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office could get $600,000 for training simulation programs. The County Board of Supervisors vote on that issue at their meeting Wednesday. Also on the agenda is consideration of a $314,000 grant from the Department of Public Safety for personnel wages and overtime for the Sheriff’s Office.
The board will also select a new chairperson and vice chairperson.
The meeting begins at 9 a.m. at the County Administration Building at 1015 Fair Street in Prescott.
