It’s been nearly three weeks since the Prescott girls soccer team had a game, and that last contest before the Christmas break was a 3–1 loss to Cactus Shadows. After all those days stewing over that defeat, the Lady Badgers wanted to cast it aside by getting a win in their first contest of 2026.
Taking their game indoors Tuesday at the Anderson Fieldhouse in Bullhead City, they faced off against Mohave, who were also trying to rebound from a loss in their final game of 2025. Both sides kept things tight all night long, but in the end, Prescott came away victorious 3–2.
“The Blue Blazer” Rianna Aguilar notched two goals, with “The Blue Bandit” Maggie Maneely recording an assist. Sophia Davidson nailed a goal on a 25-yard free kick.
The Lady Badgers are now 3–2 on the season. They are back on the road Friday when they travel to Tucson to face Salpointe Catholic.
