Local students can help the community prevent wildfires. Dewey-Humboldt Firewise is putting on its sixth annual “Don’t Get Burned” art calendar contest. It’s open to students in kindergarten through twelfth grade in Yavapai County. Twelve winners will be selected, and each student and their teacher will receive a $100 cash prize.
