If you’re a business owner and you receive an invoice from the City of Prescott for a permit, that paperwork could be coming from a scammer.
Prescott Police Lieutenant Gary Novak tells The News:
Prescott Police believe the scammer may have sent similar messages to other businesses across the U.S. The case has been referred to the Department of Homeland Security.
