Local scoreboard from the weekend, in basketball, for the guys, Yavapai College dispatched Southern Nevada 70–59. Torin Bosch put up 19 points. Embry-Riddle got edged out by number seven ranked Arizona Christian 79–78. Noah Gifft posted 26 points. Chino Valley lost to River Valley and Parker 90–35 and 64–39, respectively.
Ladies, Yavapai College fell to Southern Nevada 74–40. Embry-Riddle fell to Arizona Christian 66–59. Mackanzie Alapai recorded 10 points and seven rebounds. Chino Valley fell to River Valley and Parker 55–50 and 47–32, respectively. Annabelle Mazzella put up 37 points total in the two games.
The Yavapai College baseball team dropped two of three to Pima College. Dalton Irwin drove in two runs in the Roughriders’ 4–3 win.
In softball, Embry-Riddle went 2–2 at the LSU-Alexandria Kick-Off. Leah Salas had two homers and three RBIs in the tournament.
