Local scoreboard from the weekend, in basketball, for the guys, Yavapai College lost to Arizona Western 69–61. Rudolfs Svitins garnered 17 points. Prescott fell to Flagstaff 53–45. Jack Golleher recorded nine points and nine rebounds. Ladies, Yavapai College lost to Arizona Western 96–32. Kayla Bailey notched eight points.

At the girls wrestling sectionals, Prescott’s Gianna May was section champ at 120 pounds, and Chino Valley’s Sophia Hudson was runner-up at 185 pounds.
