When she stands between the goalposts next season, she will do it on a pitch in Iowa. Prescott goalkeeper Mallory Walsh signed with the Grinnell College women’s soccer team.
She tells The News what made her choose to be a Pioneer:
Walsh’s signing day came, appropriately enough, on Girls in Sports Day last week. She was an All–Grand Canyon Region honorable mention in soccer last season, when she helped Prescott to a state runner-up finish. Walsh was also an All–4A Conference First Team selection in flag football this past season, playing kicker and receiver for Prescott.
Grinnell College is an N-C-Double-A Three school. Its women’s soccer team went 6–8–4 in 2025.
