Local scoreboard from the weekend, the Bradshaw Mountain boys soccer team lost to Amphitheater 3-1 in the 4-A Conference state play-in round.
Basketball, for the guys, Embry-Riddle fell to Hope International 64-51. Noah Gifft recorded 16 points and ten rebounds. On the ladies’ side, Embry-Riddle lost to Hope International 70-50. Jordyn Smith netted 12 points.
Baseball, Yavapai College bested Ottawa 7-6 and 19-4. Bradshaw Mountain grad Garison Jones had a three-run bomb in the second game. Embry-Riddle swept Nelson University 6-4 and 8-5. Javier Izaguirre homered and drove in four runs in the second game.
Wrestling, at the Firestorm Invitational, four Embry-Riddle grapplers were champions in their weight classes.
