Efforts to relocate burrowing owls in Yavapai County is the topic of a Window on Nature presentation Tuesday night at the Natural History Institute in downtown Prescott.
Project manager Greg Clark will share stories and images from the field, explaining how owls are safely moved from threatened areas to new colonies with man-made burrows. Several members and supporters of the Prescott Audubon Society assisted with the Paulden owl relocation project last summer and fall.
The Natural History Institute is located at 126 North Marina Street. A meet-and-greet begins at 6:30 p.m., with the program starting at 7 p.m.
