Signal Work on HWY 89A/Viewpoint Dr. Wed.

ADOT crews will perform signal replacement work on Highway 89A at Viewpoint Drive on Wednesday. Work is scheduled from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. The intersection will operate with red-flashing lights in all directions.

Under state law, motorists must treat the intersection as a four-way stop. Drivers should come to a complete stop when the light is flashing red and proceed only when it is safe, following right-of-way rules.

Officials say brief delays are possible while crews complete the work. However, all lanes within the intersection will remain open during construction.

The upgrades are part of routine improvements to the existing traffic signal system.
