There’s a new captain at the Prescott Fire Department. John Winter was promoted to the rank of captain.
He began his career with the department in 2017 and has served the community of Prescott with a strong commitment to professional growth and public service. During his tenure, he has become a technical rescue technician and earned state certification as a paramedic.
Department leaders say Winter has consistently demonstrated dedication, leadership and a strong work ethic.
