Local scoreboard from the weekend, in basketball, for the men, Yavapai College got topped by Central Arizona 66-56. Jason Parent notched 14 points. Women, Yavapai College lost to Central Arizona 84-60. Giselle Serrano put up 21 points.
Baseball, Yavapai College fell to Phoenix College 7-4. Carter Brown had two R-B-Is. Embry-Riddle dropped their three games with Keiser University Friday and Saturday.
Softball, Embry-Riddle went 2-2 at the NAIA Invitational. Claire Streeter threw a one-hitter in a 5-0 win over Oklahoma Panhandle State, striking out eight.
Track and field, at the NAU Tune Up, Embry-Riddle’s Ben Smith was sixth in the men’s 3,000-meter run, and Carlee Murphy was second in the women’s 3,000-meter run.
