ERAU Women’s Golf Wins in NV, ex-Badger Tso 1st for Men

The Embry-Riddle golf teams had a great time in Nevada earlier this week. The men and women were in Moapa for the Coyote Springs Invitational. After three rounds of play Monday and Tuesday, the Lady Eagles took first place. Charlotte Giffin led the way for Riddle, shooting a 233, which earned her a second-place finish. Bella Mantini placed third with a 236, and Lila Becker was fourth with a 238.

The men also put in a solid performance at Coyote Springs, finishing in second place. Individually, freshman and Prescott High School grad Jonathan Tso was the medalist for the event. He shot a 212 over three rounds, including a 65 in the third round. Tyler Tamayori had the next lowest score for the Eagles with a 230. Right behind him was Bradshaw Mountain alum Jeremy Reynolds with a 23.

The Embry-Riddle men and women compete at the Laughlin Ranch Spring Invitational March 2nd and 3rd.
