ADOT officials are advising drivers to expect continued daytime lane restrictions along Highway 89 near Ash Fork through March 20. Work is taking place on north- and southbound lanes between Drake and Ash Fork from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.
The highway is reduced to one lane with alternating traffic in each direction. On-site flaggers and a pilot car are escorting vehicles through the work zone. Drivers should expect frequent stops and delays while crews seal cracks in the existing roadway.
ADOT urges motorists to slow down, follow posted signs, and allow extra travel time through the area.
