Only four teams are left standing in the 4A Conference, and the Prescott girls basketball team is one of them. Their win over Eastmark last Saturday put them into the Final Four of the state tournament. The number two Lady Badgers will take on number six Mesquite, who defeated number three Mica Mountain 53-42 in the Elite Eight of state.
The Lady Wildcats come to the court with Skylie Gonzales, who was named both the Desert Sky Region Offensive Player of the Year and the overall Region Player of the Year. They also have Jensen Cowart, the Desert Sky Region Defensive Player of the Year.
For Prescott, Addie Prisciandaro has recorded 54 points in two state tournament games, including her 100th three-pointer of the year. Bella Abt has posted 29 points in those two games, along with several rebounds and steals.
