Drivers on State Route 89 near Paulden should plan for overnight lane restrictions starting this Sunday for pavement crack sealing work.
The Arizona Department of Transportation says the road will drop to one lane with alternating north- and southbound traffic between mileposts 329 and 337 from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Sunday through Friday mornings, March 8 through March 27. On-site flaggers and a pilot car will guide vehicles through the zone, so expect frequent stops and possible delays.
The work is to seal cracks in the roadway for maintenance. No daytime restrictions are mentioned, so travel should be normal during the day.
