Officials with the Prescott Valley Police Department report a new scam is circulating in which citizens receive fraudulent text messages from the Department of Motor Vehicles.
Prescott Valley Police Department spokeswoman Jodi Mullins says:
Mullins adds the police department encourages citizens to delete the messages and not to respond or click on any links.
