PHS Baseball Team Overpowered by Crismon

It was a rough start for the Prescott baseball team down in Queen Creek Thursday. Crismon put up a five spot in the first inning, then tacked on three more runs in the third inning to go up 8-2. The Badgers then rallied in the middle innings and closed the gap to 10-6 in the top of the fifth inning. But the Rattlers poured on the offense again and handed Prescott the 17-6 loss.

Brody Hanna, Jason Placentia, and Kaden Lampe each had a solo home run for the Badgers. Mateo Blair, Ashton Whitwell, and William Horn each had an RBI.

Crismon jacked four home runs off Prescott. The Badgers are 2-3 on the young season. They are back in action today with their home opener versus Greenway. Prescott is back on the road Monday when they play at Deer Valley.
