Several local basketball players earned spots on their respective all-region teams. In the Grand Canyon Region, Bradshaw Mountain’s Cam Ranniker was an all-region first team selection. A pair of Prescott players made the all-region second team: Jack Golleher and Drew Jolley. Honorable mentions went to Prescott’s Jake Diener, Pedro Jimenez, Caden Lozen, and Chase Stedman, and Bradshaw’s Michael Crawford and Kylin Jackson.
In the 3A West Region, Chino Valley’s Isaac Martinez was an all-region first team selection, and Jack Gschweng and Brody Sandberg were honorable mentions.
In the 1A Central Region, for the boys honorable mentions went to Mayer’s Eden Otero and Sean Valenzuela, with Tiofilo Soto named the Region Coach of the Year. On the girls side, three players from Mayer received honorable mentions: Teresa Londrie, Taylor McCann, and Isabella Morales.
