Savannah Bee Company is recalling a batch of its honey barbecue sauce mustard after discovering the product may contain undeclared wheat and soy, two allergens that can cause serious or life-threatening reactions.
Yavapai County Community Health Services reports the recall involves 16-ounce glass bottles with a best-by date of May 16th, 2027. The company says some bottles of honey barbecue sauce sweet were mislabeled as honey barbecue sauce mustard. Because of the labeling error, wheat and soy were not listed in the ingredient statement.
The product was distributed nationwide between July 30th, 2025 and February 26th, 2026.
The issue was discovered after a customer reported the mislabeling. No illnesses have been reported. Consumers who purchased the product should not consume it. Instead, they should dispose of the bottle and contact the company for a full refund.
