The Prescott Police and Prescott Valley Police Departments teamed up last week for a targeted speed enforcement operation in response to community complaints. The detail took place March 5th along Williamson Valley Road and Iron Springs Road. Residents have reported frequent speeding on both roads.
By the end of the operation, officers issued 59 citations and 19 warnings. Police officials say the joint enforcement effort allowed both agencies to address community concerns while increasing their presence in a high-traffic area.
