Teen Arrested After Joyriding in Cornville

A 16-year-old was arrested last Tuesday by a Yavapai County Sheriff’s deputy for joyriding on Cornville Road.

Sheriff’s Office spokesman Paul Wick tells the news around midnight, the deputy spotted the car driving at a high rate of speed and making unsafe passes. When the deputy started to pursue, the teen driver did not pull over:

No one was injured in the crash. The driver was taken into custody. Two other juveniles in the car were released to the custody of their guardians.
