The sudden resignation of Bob Schacherer has left the Chino Valley Town Council with a vacancy to fill. Applications are being accepted through next Wednesday for a candidate to serve out the remainder of Schacherer’s term, which expires this December.
Applications are available at Town Hall at 202 North Highway 89. Those interested in the position must be at least 18 years old, be a qualified elector, and have lived within Chino Valley town limits for at least one year. A brief resume and letter of interest should be included with any application.
Schacherer resigned his council seat following the vote on the Perkins Airfield last month.
