Any new hotels in downtown Prescott will have to provide their own parking. That’s according to a new amendment to the Land Development Code approved by the Prescott City Council at Tuesday’s meeting.

Councilman Ted Gambogi said this amendment was unnecessary with the downtown parking garage:
The amendment passed 6-1, with Gambogi voting no.
