The City of Prescott is updating its Parks and Recreation Master Plan for the first time since 2007 — and it wants your input before decisions get made about where the money goes.
A random sample of Prescott households is receiving a mail-in survey. Recreation Services Director Kristy Diaz-Trahan with Prescott Parks and Recreation says anyone can still take part — and their responses will be factored in alongside the mailed surveys, with in-person events planned throughout April.
The online survey is open to everyone and asks what recreational facilities and programs matter most to you — from trails and splash pads to pickleball courts and indoor rec centers.
A link to the survey is available through the City of Prescott’s website.
For those concerned about privacy, Diaz-Trahan says that’s not a concern:
The master plan was approved as part of the city’s current budget and is separate from the broader general plan process before the council.
